Meru National Park
Abundant rainfall and numerous permanent watercourses
flowing down from the Mt.
Kenya support a luxuriant jungle of forest, bush, swamp,
and tall grasses, which in turn, provide shelter to
a wide variety of herbivores and their predators.
The
park is geographically diverse. Common animals are elephants,
lions, cheetahs, waterbucks, gazelles, elands, reticulated
giraffes, and buffaloes.
